Hello, I'm new to Tango Control, I reinstalled from scratch all the bricks. I have now a running installation. Now, I'd like to write a simple gui to drive a test device with Taurus. I already run simples examples but I don't understand how to use taurusgui & taurusdesigner. I found this presentation : http://icalepcs.synchrotron.org.au/talks/thhc3o03_talk.pdf but I'm now looking for video … Perharps do you know other tutorials ? Many thanks for any links Regards Pierre |

Hi Pierre, I suggest you ask this question on the taurus mailing list where there might be more taurus specialists. You can subscribe here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/tauruslib/lists/tauruslib-users I presume you have checked the taurus-scada.org website documentation for tutorials. Cheers Andy |

Hi Pierre, As Andy suggested, the first place to look would be: http://www.taurus-scada.org Then there are some old-ish resources you may find interesting, such as: https://sourceforge.net/p/tauruslib/wiki/taurusgui_for_dummies/ https://sourceforge.net/p/sardana/wiki/SardanaTraining-WorkshopBCN20130522/ (look at blocks 1.1 and 2.1) Regarding the videos that you miss from the presentation that you linked, you can get them here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9oPiPOsun9PS1Nibkljay1wWVE/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9oPiPOsun9PdTZnVWxCQ0RUdDg/view?usp=sharing Finally, if you have any questions or require further support, please open an issue in: https://github.com/taurus-org/taurus/issues (we moved the support talk to github issues, and use the mailing list mostly for announcements) I hope this helps!
