Upgrade from 6.6.6 version to latest

I have old version of TANGO (6.6.6), running on Windows Server 2012. I want to migrate to the latest version (9.2.2). Is there an easy way to do it? May be some migration tool? |

We don't have a special migration tool. Is the database running on the windows machine as well? If yes, the database needs migration. IIRC We do have database migration scripts bundled with the installer. I would also pick the latest available version to upgrade to, 9.3.4 has a windows installer, see https://gitlab.com/tango-controls/TangoSourceDistribution/-/releases/9.3.4. We will also have a windows installer available for 9.4.1 in the next months. |

t-b When TangoDatabase is installed, there should also be a set of DB migration scripts be installed. One of them is "update_db_from_6_to_9.3.4.sql". Cheers, Thomas |
