Config. parameter - Free/Global

TCS_GMRT	Hi, I went through the tango documents and videos. I have query in 'Device Interface' - property : config. parameters 1.Attribute level 2.Device level 3.Class level 4.Free/Global I wanted to know how is 'Free/Global' implemented. Pravin	Hi, Recently I have installed tango in my machine(ubuntu 16.04). When I run a jive command from terminal, before jive gets started I am getting an error. Reynald	Hi, This problem is due to the fact that recent MySQL (and mariaDB) versions are not backward compatible with older versions of MySQL. This problem has been fixed in the latest version of the Tango Database server (DataBase-Release-5.6 tag) which will be delivered with Tango 9.2.5 and which is already available on GitHub: https://github.com/tango-controls/TangoDatabase Hoping this helps, Reynald Rosenberg's Law: Software is easy to make, except when you want it to do something new. Hi,

This problem has been fixed in the latest version of the Tango Database server (DataBase-Release-5.6 tag) which will be delivered with Tango 9.2.5 and which is already available on GitHub:
